Brian Hall  

Brian Hall, Founder and Chief Executive Officer

Brian is a founder of Bartercard and has over 26 years of Sales and Sales Management experience. The past 20 years Brian has been hands-on developing the sales and trading systems for the franchise model of Bartercard.

Brian has held a variety of positions with Bartercard since its inception and is now CEO of The Bartercard International Group. With his broad range of experience and knowledge  plus passion and excitement for the industry, Brian is the perfect leader to drive the business to new growth.


On a personal note, Brian is Canadian born, now an Australian citizen. He graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce & Administration specialising in Transportation & Distribution logistics from the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada. Brian has been married for 26 years and has three children.

 

 

Tony Wiese  

Tony Wiese, Chief Financial Officer

Tony is a Chartered Accountant with 20 years experience in Financial and Executive Management.

After completing his accountancy articles with Arthur Anderson & Co., Tony commenced his career in South Africa as Financial Manager and a shareholder of the then small transport company, Super Group Pty Ltd. During his time at Super Group, Tony helped grow the company to a one billion dollar turnover business and the second largest transport company in Africa. In his 10 years at Super Group, Tony advanced to Executive Director of the Board of the then publicly listed company and was the Managing Director of the Rental and Logistics Division, which included 12 subsidiary companies.

Tony later founded and listed the Onelogix Group Ltd, a logistics and supply chain company, which included the 226 PostNet franchise network. Tony was the initial CEO of the Group for the first 2 years before emigrating to Australia.

After moving to Australia in 2002, Tony invested in various private companies, including Bartercard. Tony is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and Global Accounting Alliance (GAA).

 

 

Trevor Dietz  

Trevor Dietz, Chief Operating Officer

MSc, FAICD, FPNA, FFIN, CMAHRI

Trevor Dietz is the Chief Operating Officer of the Bartercard International Group of Companies and Managing Director of Barter Capital Pty Ltd. In these roles his focus in on the capital structuring of the Bartercard International Group as well as developing emerging international markets, technology systems and new enterprises.

Previously Trevor was the Managing Director of Bartercard Australia Pty Ltd from 2005 until 2009 when he was succeed by his fellow business partner Brian Hall. He joined Bartercard in 1993 as General Manager and has since contributed to the company's success in a broad cross section of senior management roles. He was elected to the Australian Board of Bartercard in 1998 and to the Board of Bartercard International in 2000.  He is also a Non-Executive Director of the Institute of Business Leaders.

Trevor has over 25 years experience in retail, corporate and international banking, finance and human resource management. Before joining Bartercard, Trevor was Chief Executive Officer of the Institute of Public Accountants and held senior corporate office positions in North Broken Hill Peko and National Australia Bank. He is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, a Fellow of the Institute of Public Accountants, a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australia, and a Chartered Member of the Australian Human Resources Institute.

 

 

Murray d'Almeida    

Murray d'Almeida, Non-Executive Chairman


Murray has over 35 years of diverse national and international business experience.  He commenced his career in Perth with a firm of chartered accountants before moving into a broad range of commercial and financial reporting positions with two major USA based mining companies.  He founded the Australian and international retailer, Retail Food Group and developed their presence in seven overseas countries.  He has maintained operating and board positions in a number of businesses including the following.
